An opportunity has arisen for a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Gray Institute for Radiation Oncology and Biology. You will join Dr Vincenzo DâAngiolellaas research team, which focuses on the maintenance of genome stability in normal and cancer cells.
In this role you will undertake state-of-the-art molecular, cell biological and biochemical techniques in order to explore the role of E3 ubiquitin ligases in cancer development and radiotherapy response. You will be involved in a system based approach to identify the genes that lead to genome instability in mammalian cells, and ultimately cancer.
You will have a PhD in a relevant subject and at least one peer-reviewed first author publication. Relevant experience in biomedical research, preferably in cancer biology and metabolism of nucleic acids, including DNA damage response, is required for this role.
This is a full-time post and is offered for 3 years in the first instance.
