Grade 8: £37,382 - £44,607 p.a.
We are seeking a senior Postdoctoral Scientist to join Dr Dong's Anti-viral T cell Group. The group is currently developing several collaborative projects with our partners in China, investigating immune correlates (immune genetic and cellular factors) with influenza virus infection, Hepatitis virus infection. The position requires a highly experienced cellular and/or molecular immunologist to oversee and develop the research programme for a number of projects.
A PhD in a relevant biological discipline with postdoctoral research experience, good communication, writing and presentation skills are essential. Expertise in a range of molecular biology, immunology and cell biology techniques would be advantageous.
The post is available for 3 years, and funding is provided by the Wellcome Trust Institutional Strategic Fund.
